Categories gave them immediate and convenient access to the tools they needed every day. These customizable categories could also be used to label each email, which allowed them to reference it even quicker. MARK5’s search capabilities are as fast as you can type, so as they search for emails by ship, customer, voyage, etc., MARK5 is filtering through thousands of results in seconds.
Nordic IT also set up customized folder structures, workflows and permissions that optimized each team’s collaboration process. From there, different users could set up more complex folder structures that would only display the folders relevant to their work.
Looking Ahead to the Future
Six years later, MARK5 has been rebranded as reMARK to create an even better user experience. The MARK5 interface has been upgraded and simplified even further to produce the ultimate collaborative email software for maritime teams. Now that J. Lauritzen has some Super Users within the company, we are looking forward to upgrading them to reMARK soon.
